Dec. 2015: Yamashita-san will present his work on mathematical analysis of the lattice light-sheet microscope data at ASCB2015.
Nov. 2015: Our paper describing establishment of a method for mathematical computation of vast amounts of spatiotemporal information derived from the lattice light-sheet microscopy has been published in a special section honoring Prof. Osamu Shimomura of the Journal of J. Biomedical Optics!
Sep. 2015: We will present our work described in the paper above in the ASCB 2015 Meeting, San Diego.
Jul. 2015: Our research project regarding the analysis of mitotic regulation by lattice light-sheet microscopy has been adopted in research grants from Takeda Science Foundation!
Mar. 2015: Presented an introduction of the lattice light-sheet microscopy at The Japanese Association of Anatomists and The Physiological Society of Japan joint meeting.
Feb. 2014: Published a Japanese commentary about high resolution 3D imaging by two-photon excitation spinning disk microscope and lattice light-sheet microscope.

Oct. 2014: Published a collaborative paper with Dr. Eric Betzig's group (HHMI's Janelia Farm), describing the development of Lattice Light Sheet Microscopy.
Oct. 2014: Great news! Our collaborator Dr. Eric Betzig (HHMI's Janelia Farm), who is conducting development of a novel ultrathin light sheet microscope, won The Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2014 "for the development of super-resolved fluorescence microscopy". Jul. 2014: Published a Japanese review describing detailes of the two-photon escitation spinning disk confocal microscope for in vivo imaging.
Jun. 2014: Again, presented imaging data collected using two-photon excitation spinning disk confocal microscope and novel ultrathin light sheet microscope developed by Dr. Eric Betzig's group (HHMI's Janelia Farm Research Campus).
