What are the requirements for analysis samples?

How do you recommend isolating total RNA for CAGE analysis?
Please isolate total RNA by following protocol for TRIzol or ISOGEN, etc. Store the isolated total RNA below -80oC, and, please pack it with dry ice if shipping the sample to us.
How are the samples and data stored?
The samples are stored in dedicated and lockable vaults. The data is stored on dedicated GeNAS servers in the GeNAS dedicated network.
How will data be delivered? Are there any specific computer system requirements for viewing the data provided by GeNAS?
The data is stored and delivered on a hard disk. The data is also stored on a hard disk even in the case of data which is to be displayed in a browser. Customers can view data using the browser unit on a Windows computer. Please consult with us when using any other OS.
How long does it take for a customer to receive the deliverable?
It usually takes approximately 2 to 3 months to complete standard CAGE analysis after GeNAS receives the sample from the customer. The delivery time depends on the type of analysis required after sequencing. Please feel free to contact us to discuss this matter.
How should I make payment?
Please make payment through an agent of GeNAS’s partner company. An invoice will be issued by the agent based on the information you have provided in the contact form.

Do you accept human clinical samples for analysis? If so, please explain what the necessary procedures are for this.
Yes, we can accept it, but we can only perform the analysis that has nothing to do with research in Riken. In order to process human clinical samples, we would require submission of a document that proves that the matter has passed the human ethical review of your institution.
